I'm fleshing (pun intended) this world out now. The first book is called "The Code of Power".

In the world of Triplura, machines and humans alike populate, but the machines are akin to animals on earth in intellect...or so the humans think.

As a threat emerges, key individuals are chosen by "sparks", sentient beings of energy that can empower humans with machine or robotic enhancements. They don't just do this with anyone, though, and having your code rewritten requires sacrifice and service to certain Codes of Conduct.

This story starts off following Dalana, a persecuted and wrongfully enslaved human who must find her path. As she caught the attention of an ancient and powerful spark, she begins to change, but that change requires her to become who she truly can be. To make matters worse, powering a spark enhanced form requires acquiring energy in ways that violate others in sexually abusive ways. Can she find better ways to get energy, and advance herself and the people around her enough to fight off a terrible extraplanar threat?
